Emergency and high-intent
NowA pipe burst or the water is rising. Buyers have little patience.
Own a fast page for each emergency. Keep your service details and response information clear.
The searches plumbing customers really type, grouped by how ready they are to call.
By the Full Board AI team. Updated September 2026.
The plumbing keywords worth building for are the ones a customer types mid-problem, not generic terms like "plumbing services." They sort by intent: emergency searches that convert within minutes, repair and drain searches, high-ticket installation and repiping searches, recurring maintenance, commercial work, and the questions people now ask AI assistants. You win by owning a real page for each intent, not by stacking every term on one page.
Plumbing customers are usually in trouble right now. A burst pipe, no hot water, a backed-up drain. They search from a phone, mid-problem, and call the first plumber who looks real and close. That is why the exact words matter: "burst pipe" is a call in the next five minutes, while "how long do water heaters last" is a replacement quote a month out.
Below is the plumbing keyword universe grouped the way a customer actually moves, from emergency to research, with what each cluster is worth and the move it should drive. Use it as a build list, not a word cloud.

Keyword clusters
A pipe burst or the water is rising. Buyers have little patience.
Own a fast page for each emergency. Keep your service details and response information clear.
Something is wrong and they are ready to book. The bread-and-butter volume of the trade.
Give each repair and drain service its own page. Drain cleaning alone is a cluster most plumbers never build for.
The biggest tickets. Researching cost and options before a water-heater or repipe job.
Answer the cost question with real market ranges, then route to a quote. Water-heater and repipe jobs fund the slow months.
Steadier, lower-urgency work. Customers looking for upkeep and peace of mind.
A maintenance and inspection page captures the customers thinking ahead instead of reacting to a flood.
Higher-value, relationship-driven. Property managers and businesses buying on reliability.
If you do commercial, it needs its own page and language. A facility manager does not search like a homeowner.
Top of funnel and AI-citation bait. The homeowner researching before they call.
Answer each question in a block an assistant can quote, then link to the matching repair or install page. This is how you get named by ChatGPT and Google AI.
How to use this list
Take each cluster and give it a real page. Do not merge them. Google ranks the page that most specifically answers the search, and one page cannot be the most specific answer to six different intents.
Where a term ends in [city], build a version for each area you serve. A page that says something true about working in that area beats a template with the city name swapped in.
For the emergency cluster, the page's only job is to load fast and get a tappable number in reach. Everything else is secondary when someone is standing in water.
For the AI-question cluster, write a tight two or three sentence answer at the top of each page. That extractable block is what an assistant lifts into its answer, with your name attached.
One system
The list is the map. The system builds the pages, gets them found, and keeps improving what brings in work.

We take one business per industry in each territory, and we do not sell the same territory twice. Tell us your trade and your city and we will tell you whether yours is still open.
One business per industry, per territory: once a territory is taken, no competitor in it can buy the service.
One business per industry, per territory. One roofer in your part of Seattle. One water damage company in your part of Wichita. If your territory is open, it is yours.
