What does the free score check?

Your score is out of 100. It comes from seven checks that decide whether local customers find you and choose you:

1. Google Business Profile: whether your profile is complete, verified and built out the way Google rewards.
2. Local rankings: where you show up in the map pack when customers near you search.
3. Reviews: your rating, how many reviews you have, and how fresh they are compared with the competitor next to you.
4. Website: speed, how it works on a phone, trust, and whether it's built to rank and turn visitors into jobs.
5. Location pages: whether you have a real page for every area you serve, or one general page doing all the work.
6. AI search: whether ChatGPT names you when someone asks for your trade in your town.
7. Links from other websites: how many trusted websites link to yours, how strong those links are, and whether any look like spam.

Each check gets its own result, so you can see which ones are pulling your score down.
